pi-hermes

A private household assistant, run by one family for its own use.

pi-hermes helps one household keep track of school, club and household admin: dates, payments and to-dos from emails that family members forward to it. It runs on a private server owned by the family.

It is not a public service. There are no sign-ups, and nobody outside the household can use it.

How it uses Google

pi-hermes signs in only to its own dedicated Google account. It reads the messages in that account that family members have forwarded to it, and it reads and updates that account's own calendar. It does not access anyone else's Google account.
